The Scholarship will cover the following:

- Domestic tuition fees for enrollment in the doctoral program.
- Thesis preparation grants.
Eligibility for Scholarship
- The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and
international students. - a Master by coursework with a significant research component graded as high distinction, or equivalent
- An Honours degree achieving first-class honors
- Applicants must meet all the entry requirements for the Doctoral program at the University of Waikato.
- Applicants must meet the English language entry requirement.
