It also aims to train future highly qualified professionals who will participate in the economic and social development of their country of origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>91 scholarships will be awarded to students admitted to the courses listed in the call for applications. The scholarships are distributed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Faculty of Sciences: 35 scholarships of 8 000\u20ac each<\/li><li>Faculty of Health: 28 scholarships of 10 000\u20ac each<\/li><li>Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: 35 scholarships of 8 000\u20ac each<\/li><li>IPGP: 7 scholarships of 10 000\u20ac each<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration of the scholarship<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The MIEM scholarship is a master\u2019s level scholarship only.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It cannot be combined with another scholarship. It is awarded for one year, non-renewable and with no possible deferral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility requirements<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Only students applying to the short-listed masters are eligible for a MIEM scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find the list of the Masters pre-selected by the Faculties of Sciences, Humanities and Social sciences and IPGP (Institut de Physique du Globe)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/u-paris.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Liste-des-masters-eligibles-MIEM-2021-22_0701.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on this document.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find the list of the Masters pre-selected by the Faculty of Health on the website:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/u-paris.fr\/choisir-sa-formation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/u-paris.fr\/choisir-sa-formation\/<\/a><br>(Please click on \u201cmaster\u201d in the course catalog)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They must also meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Be of foreign nationality and newcomers to French universities;<\/li><li>Hold a foreign baccalaureate or national diploma certifying the end of secondary education (it corresponds to the international level CITE\/ISCED 3);<\/li><li>Students applying for the 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;year of Master (Master 1) must hold a foreign degree equivalent to a French Bachelor\u2019s degree;<\/li><li>Students applying for the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;year of Master must hold a foreign degree equivalent to the French Master 1;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Important: Students corresponding to one of the statuses listed below are not eligible for the MIEM scholarship:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Foreign holders of a French baccalaureate who have studied abroad;<\/li><li>Foreign students who hold a French National Diploma of Higher Education and\/or whose last diploma was obtained in France;<\/li><li>Binational\/national candidates, when they have French nationality, are not eligible.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these general criteria, each master\u2019s degree will apply its own selection criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidate will only be declared a laureate in the MIEM scholarship program once he\/she has been officially admitted to the chosen master\u2019s program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The student sends his or her\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/u-paris.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/MIEM-2021-2022-Formulaire-candidature_0701.docx\" target=\"_blank\">application<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to the International Relations and Strategy Office (SRI):\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/u-paris.fr\/en\/call-for-applications-international-students-miem-scholarship-program\/scholarship.programs.miem-mires@u-paris.fr\">scholarship.programs.miem-mires@u-paris.fr<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be noted:<\/strong>&nbsp;Incomplete applications (whether it is admission and\/or MIEM scholarship application) will not be processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the student\u2019s responsibility to check that his or her file is correctly completed and accompanied by the requested documents. If not, the SRI has the right to reject the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Deadline for application:<strong>&nbsp;February 1st, 2021<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Processing your application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The International Relations and Strategy Office (SRI) controls the application\u2019s eligibility and forwards it to each Faculty.<\/li><li>Each faculty organizes the selection of students and the dispatching of scholarships among the programs, according to its own academic criteria. A main list and a subsidiary list of laureates will be established.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Information about your application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The International Relations and Strategy Office (SRI) will notify each laureate of the MIEM scholarship by email on<strong>&nbsp;April 15, 2021.<\/strong><\/li><li>The student has 15 days to confirm acceptance of the MIEM UP scholarship. Without any answer, starting from the 16th day, the student is considered as resigning and the scholarship is lost. A candidate from the subsidiary list will be contacted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandatory response date: Between the\u00a0<strong>1st and the 15th<\/strong>\u00a0day following the reception of the
