Brief description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese Government Scholarship\u2014Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or MOUs between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities and international organizations.  It supports undergraduate programs, master\u2019s programs, doctoral programs, general scholar programs and senior scholar programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bilateral Program provides both full scholarships and partial scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People\u2019s Republic of China, and be in good health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The requirements for applicants\u2019 degree and age are that applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022  be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for the undergraduate programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022  be a bachelor\u2019s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master\u2019s programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022  be a master\u2019s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022  be under the age of 45 and have a high school diploma (or higher) when applying for the general scholar programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022  be a master\u2019s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for the senior scholar programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants should consult to the dispatching authorities for overseas study in their home countries for the details and requirements of Bilateral Program and apply between January and early April<\/strong>. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
